Multifunction Room Automation

Centralized or decentralized intelligent building control

The room automation concept offers defined room functionality within one device. All loads in the room (lights, blinds, heating, etc.) can be controlled remotely. Modifications to the room utilization are easy to implement.

Main benefits
  • Cost and time advantages in planning, installation, commissioning and reprogramming
  • Improves level of comfort by the creation of scenes
  • High flexibility as function extensions are possible at any time

Main features

  • Available as DIN rail components and surface mounted devices
  • Various combinations of input and output functions are possible
  • All loads in the room (lights, blinds, heating, etc.) can be controlled using a central device

RM/S4.1

Device to control of apartment ranges, typically in hotels and small apartments. 8 inputs and 8 outputs.

RM/S3.1

Device to control of apartment ranges, typically in hotels and small apartments. 12 inputs, 4 outputs and 4 shutter outputs or 8 outputs.

RC/A4.2

Accommodates up to 4 plug-in modules. It controls their function and communicates as one bus device via the ABB i-bus®. Any module type can be plugged into each module slot. Manual operation for functional tests.

ES/M2.24.1

Module for plugging into the Room Controller Basis Device. It has two overload-proof, noise-free and wear-resistant outputs for the control of electrothermal valve drives with a voltage of 12/24 V AC/DC, max. 700 mA continuous current.
